The hands on this watch are in the form of two circles, one circle is labelled "what I want" and the other "what I need". As the circles move to mark the time, they form a Venn diagram.
The shifting relationship that the diagram depicts between "wants" and "needs" is a way for us to think about the changing nature of our own desires and their fulfilment.
The watch is a tool for questioning ourselves - how does the diagram reflect the relationship between our own wants and needs at any given time?

Modern and industrial looking, these are concrete docking stations for the iPhone. A minimalist design created by Jordan Castro of the Massachusetts-based company Zeitgeistfactory, it is handcrafted from a proprietary blend of cement and recycled stone dust which is a by-product of the countertop industry. Each dock is designed to stand vertically or horizontally. The removable concrete peg fits snugly into place via two silicone o-rings.

I came across these quite by accident and immediately fell in love with them. As a matter of fact, I had to buy one - and did. Beautifully rendered skulls hand cast in various materials are placed on elastic bands for use as pony tail holders. Available as yellow bronze, sterling silver plated white bronze, black resin, ivory resin and even a sugar skull version cast in oxidized sterling overlay on white bronze. Prices vary depending upon materials.
Sterling Silver Plated White Bronze:
Oxidized Sterling over White Bronze:
A black resin Raven skull and sterling silver over white bronze T-Rex skull are also available:
The bands are easily replaceable (as one would not want to have to toss the piece of art when the elastic is stretched out).
