Chanel's Mane Event. The Winter 2010-2011 Haute Couture Show.

The newest haute couture collection from CHANEL premiered July 6 at the Grand Palais in Paris. The collection was filled with rich brocades, luxurious sequins, ruched boots, new longer length dresses, some seriously puffy sleeves, tousled hair and lions. Yes, Lions.

One of Karl Lagerfeld's most sumptuous and elegant collections to date, the Chanel show and collection were punctuated with multiple appearances of the King of the Jungle.

The set in Paris, designed by Stéfan Lubrina, had an enormous statue (reported to weigh 8 tons) of a Lion through whose giant paws the models strutted Karl Lagerfeld's latest looks. You can view a video of the construction of the set here.

The set was based on this marble statue:

Lion heads adorned the invitation, the press kit, some of the jewelry, some of the gowns and even were embedded into some of the fabrics.

Claudia Schiffer Bares Baby Bump, Nude & Clothed For Karl Lagerfeld.

Supermodel mother of two, Claudia Schiffer, is pregnant with her third child, due later this month, with husband Matthew Vaughn.

The blonde statuesque model graces both the cover and much of the interior of the 2010 June issue of Vogue Germany.

For the cover Claudia, who has been a longtime muse of Karl Lagerfeld's, is nude and very pregnant in a pose strikingly reminiscent to Demi Moore's August 1991 Vanity Fair Cover shot by Annie Leibovitz.

While the magazine's interior editorial features more shots of the model by the likes of Ellen von Unwerth, Camilla Akrans, Francesco Carrozzini, and Jan Welters, I'm going to share with you the hauntingly beautiful shots by Karl Lagerfeld taken on April 22nd of Claudia, some of which are featured in the editorial and others are not.

With obvious religious overtones, the model channeling the Madonna, is shown in classic black and white Chanel.

Coca-Cola Light Gets Dressed By Another Designer, Karl Lagerfeld.

Coca Cola Light continues to honor fashion icons with their latest limited edition bottle designed by and featuring CHANEL's pony-tailed guru of couture, Karl Lagerfeld.

The designer's famous silhouette graces the aluminum bottle which comes in unique limited edition box, accompanied with a bottle-opener discreetly hidden in a drawer. Available now from Colette.

This is not the first fashion designer to create a special version of the famous Coca-Cola Contour bottle for their light soda. Below are several other limited edition bottles by fashion designers for the Coca Cola Light soda from the past few years.

Last year, in Italy, Coca-Cola Light had a Tribute to Fashion to celebrate 100 years of the recognizable contour bottle. Well known Italian designers Alberta Ferretti, Blumarine, Etro, Fendi, Marni, Missoni, Moschino, and Versace each designed the following beautiful limited edition bottles. Sadly, they were only available in Milan, but you can at least see them all here.
