Design That's Up To Par. La Bolleur's Mini Golf Course.
La Bolleur's mini golf club, a constructed nine hole course with a clubhouse and bar, has been traveling abroad. The installation by the multidisciplinary design group ( who won the Dutch Design Award in 2009 for their excellent method of communicating their brand), most recently appeared at Milan Design week and at Zona Tortona.
A little background:
Five years ago Timon van der Hijden, Zowie Jannink and Steie van Vugt decided to change the scene at La Bolleur - a former brothel in the city of Eindhoven. They literally transformed the lounge and made it their own by undertaking major creative projects which the city of Eindhoven never experienced before.
Since its inception, they've added five members to the collective; Cris Bartels, Bram Burger, Ivo J. Daniƫls, Mark van Gennip and Frank Winnubst.
With their 'hands-on' mentality, the multidisciplinary collective has appeared in many events all over the Netherlands and exhibited at the 'Salone del Mobile' in Milan.

Bas Van Beek's Hybrid Vases For Pols Potten
Dutch designer/artist Bas Van Beek has earned a reputation as an anti-elitist artist and a harsh critic of others.
When it comes to working with ceramics, he playfully combines existing objects, exemplifying that present technological processes may be used for generating new forms which devalue the meaning of limited editions.
His first collection called “Rip-Offs,” was followed up with “Prequels" (both can be seen here) and now his "Hyper hybrids."
But his five Hybrid vases for Pols Potten, the Netherland modern interior design company, are what I wanted to share with you. Available in white, silver or gold, they fuse animals with objects to become functional and fun pieces.

Anke Weiss' Working Sterling Silver Security Tags
Extra ID jewellery by Dutch designer Anke Weiss imitates the security tags attached to items of clothing in shops to prevent them from being stolen. The pieces are made from sterling silver and include actual security alarm parts.

Designer Anke Weiss also makes one of my favorite rugs, the snow-angel rug. Made of sheepskin, it has a snow angel shaved within it:
