The Fiat 500 by Gucci Promoted With These Four Short Films By Various Directors.

About a year ago, I gave my readers a good look at the Fiat 500 by Gucci (and the chic matching accessories).

Now, Gucci's Creative Director, Frida Giannini, and Fiat invited Jefferson Hack (Editor in Chief of Dazed & Confused and AnOther Magazine), NOWNESS, Olivier Zahm (Editor in Chief of Purple Fashion magazine), Franca Sozzani (Editor in Chief of Vogue Italy), and Alexi Tan (Film Director) to produce a short film with FIAT's 500 by Gucci as the inspiration.

The results are the following four short films of varying lengths starring the 500 by Gucci seen through the eyes of some of the most visionary creatives in the world today.

Vogue presents "Reverse to Perfection" for Fiat 500 by Gucci Reverse to Perfection, a film by Francesco Carrozzini where luxury recaptures its place:

Purple presents "Polaroid Papillon" for Fiat 500 by Gucci, a film by Olivier Zahm featuring Betony Vernon at the Museo Casa Mollino, Torino:

"The Race", a short film by Will Davidson. The Fiat 500 by Gucci, an exhilarating embodiment of Italian spirit stars in The Race - a short film exclusive to Dazed directed by Will Davidson:

"Assembly line", a short film by Chris Sweeney. Chris Sweeney's film for the 500 by Gucci fuses two power houses of Italian design with a playful twist that brings the 500 to life in a completely unexpected way:

First Class First Aid. Gucci, Chanel, Burberry & Louis Vuitton Inspired Bandaids.

I've already written about Leather bandages, Swarovski crystal studded bandages and as you may or may not know even good ol' Johnson & Johnson came out with designer Band-aids by Cynthia Rowley last year and in 2008, by Brazilian fashion designer Alexandre Herchovitch.

But these will have your friends drooling over your superficial wounds with envy. With the tagline "Heal in Style" these FDA approved adhesive bandages, cleverly named Brandages, play off famous and recognizable status symbols from such fashion brands as Burberry, Gucci, Chanel and Louis Vuitton. The patterns and logos are modified ever so slightly - undoubtedly to avoid a lawsuit.

They are so fashionable, I may just have to give myself a papercut.

Gucci Cuties. New Children's Collections For Boys & Girls from Gucci.

Luxury Italian status brand Gucci has launched an Autumn Winter 2011-2012 collection of clothes for children ages 2 to 8.

Inspired by the English countryside, the children's collection of clothes, accessories, and shoes, which debuted for the first time last Spring, now have a much wider selection. From formal wear to casual wear to sportswear, there are more colors, materials and styles for little boys and girls.

A British country mood is evident in riding boots, jackets and duffel-coats. The macks and many warm bright little coats are all classics, as in the cashmere model for girls with iconic horsebit detailing.

Knitwear alternates between a sportier casual style and classic chic British mood and little gentleman looks. Rounding out the range of clothes and shoes this season is a wide selection of accessories: trolley bags, school packs, handbags and head bands for girls; hats, gloves and scarves in wool or cashmere, plus ties, for boys.

The children’s collection also includes dressy outfits. Namely, tuxedos with bow-tie, cummerbund and black patent leather shoes for boys; an elegant velvet dress with strass-studded silk satin purse for girls.
