LOST: The Animated Series Project By Michael Myers

I was lucky enough to come across the amazing drawings of Michael Blaine Myers Jr. quite by accident. This then led me to do some googling and I was thrilled to find the portfolio and work of this extremely talented artist.

He has so many wonderful pieces that it's hard not to reproduce his entire portfolio right here on my blog for my readers to see.

But first, given that I'm a huge LOST fan and the series is soon coming to an end (*sob* tonight is the second to last episode), let me share with you his fabulous character illustrations of most key characters on the Island:

Super Sexy CPR Sells Fortnight Lingerie

Here's a case where the blatant use of temperature-raising -and quite possibly body part raising- video of two scantily clad women touching one another is actually appropriate (now there's a sentence I never thought I'd write).

The product being sold is lingerie. Handmade in Canada, Toronto-based Fortnight Lingerie is modern, highly tailored and yes, sexy. The small company has come up with a clever way to sell themselves: an 'educational' video of cpr training as demonstrated by models donning their product.

The company's product difference is that they sell pieces especially designed and tailored to fit more women than the narrow range offered by most North American manufacturers, which is sizes 34–38, A-D, and represents only 30% of women. Fortnight Lingerie offers sizes A-F, 30 -40.

The actual product line is minimal (in more ways than one) with 6 styles for Spring 2010:

To purchase directly from Fortnight Lingerie email them at info@fortnight.ca Select designs are also available at their store on Etsy.com Stdio visits and consultations are also available.

Sweet New Book! Lolli-POP by Massimo Gammacurta

Over a year ago I introduced my readers to a very talented photographer named Massimo Gammacurta. Within his diverse portfolio of work was a series of lollipops made in the shape of famous brand logos. Now, the photographer's lollies are presented in a new book.

press release:
Massimo Gammacurta and Visionairs Gallery present: Lolli-POP, the lollipops show.

Lolli-pop is the latest conceptual still life project by Italian born photographer Massimo Gammacurta. Each piece is a real Lollipop sculpture is handcrafted by Massimo Gammacurta with real hard ball candy. His lollies are edible icons.

The brands are as sweet as candy for the palate and the eye. The brand association has in fact been replaced by a new meaning through the materiality and the abstract action painting dynamic gestures. When Massimo first distributed his lolli-pops on the Internet as an art experiment, interest amongst bloggers and fashionistas exploded. With this book, his lolli-pops of world renowned brands are released into the world once again for consumption, but now in print.
