TIA Lingerie Design Winners & Finalists Modeled By Helena Christensen
above: Morphology by Nikolay Bojilov was the International Winner of the 2010 Triumph Inspiration Award (TIA)
Triumph International, one of the world's largest underwear manufacturers, kicked off last Fall's London Fashion Week with a star studded catwalk show led by young designers, for the international final of the Triumph Inspiration Award 2010.
The event was hosted by Actor and Dancer Adam Garcia, and judged by the fashion industry’s crème de la crème – Supermodel, Helena Christensen; Photographer, Rankin; British Fashion Designer, Matthew Williamson; Actress and Singer Karen Mok; Chair of British Fashion Council Development Committee, Hilary Riva and Head of Global Brand Management Triumph, Suzanne McKenna.
The panel declared Nikolay Bojilov from Bulgaria the winner of this year’s global final of the Triumph Inspiration Award with the design “Morphology”, shown below:
Despite strong competition from 26 other countries and much deliberation by the judging panel, Nikolay Bojilov scooped the prize of €15,000 and the phenomenal opportunity to work alongside Triumph’s design team in Hong Kong to turn their winning showpiece into a commercial garment, to be sold as a limited edition piece in Triumph’s stores and selected outlets worldwide from summer 2011.
The 2nd place was awarded to Amaya Cárcamo from Spain with “Wood Sensation” who won €10,000:
The 3rd place winner Ludovico Loffreda from Italy with “Memory of Shape” who won € 5,000:
This was the third year that Triumph International, one of the world’s leading lingerie and shapewear brands, invited young students from world-renowned fashion schools to prove their creativity in an international design contest of the highest calibre.
By interpreting the design theme “Shape Sensation”, upcoming talent took centre stage with their multinational view of shapes and silhouettes. This year, for the first time, a one-piece design was allowed to be entered instead of only a two-piece bra and briefs, but the big goal remained the same: win over the jury with the inspiration and creativity of a unique showpiece.
Here are the other finalists, modeled by Helena Christensen, each of which took first place in their individual country competitions.

The Edition 10 is the first OPEN-BACK pair of Edition headphones by Ultrasone. The wings of a butterfly inspired the basic look. Ultrasone Edition headphones not only provide brilliant sound but couple that with best materials available. Precious Ethiopian sheepskin leather covers ear cups and head band. The noble metal matt ruthenium, which is known for its elegant look and durable properties, covers the ear cups. The decorative shiny warm finish of the ruthenium surface shows a variety of eye-catching reflections. The ear cups are emblazoned with inlays of decorous Zebrano wood. Featuring a unique and stylish full metal headband that is also an extremely lightweight, solid design also bestow the highest comfort at the same time. Summing all this up, these headphones stand for extravagance in comfort, sound, surface feel and appearance.
Included you will find a specifically designed Edition 10 headphone stand. The geometrical alignment has been transferred from the ear cup inlays to define the delicate shape. This stand is a piece of art. To complete this complementary styling, the stand is made of the same Zebrano wood as the clasps on the outer ear cups. This elegant stand secures a safe storage for the edition 10 headphones.

Real Road Kill Bracelets by Metalsmith, Jeweler and Taxidermist Lucy Jenkins.
One of the best uses of Road Kill I've ever seen. These unusual and surprisingly attractive bracelets were made by award-winning metalsmith/jeweler/taxidermist Lucy Jenkins.
The gold-plated and sterling silver Road Kill Fur bangles are lined with fur sourced from actual Road kill and engraved with the Latin name of the animal and the road from which it was sourced. The Road Kill Range attempts to create a new way of wearing ethical fur for aesthetic purposes.
Oryctolagus Cuniculus (rabbit), found on the A3052 - Gold Plate, Road Kill Rabbit Fur:
"NO ANIMALS WERE KILLED FOR THE PURPOSE OF THESE PIECES" is actually printed on the lid of the presentation box for the bracelets.
Lupus Americanus (hare), found on the B3212 - Gold Plate, Road Kill Hare Fur:
The above two bracelets were available for purchase at Luna and Curious but have been sold out.
Other bracelets from the range (no longer available):
