Martini Gold by Dolce & Gabbana; The Fellini-esque Film, Ads, Stills & More.
Two Italian flavors, Martini & Rossi and Dolce & Gabbana, collaborated a few months ago to launch MARTINI®Gold, a special edition vermouth with a unique recipe which includes orange, ginger and cubeb pepper, inspired by the fashion duo.
The libation was launched with a Fellini-esque film starring the stunning and sexy Italian actress Monica Bellucci:
Directed by Jonas Ã…kerlund (shown shooting the movie below), the MARTINI® Gold short film is set in Rome, Italy - a beautiful backdrop for the visually lush story.
Inspired by Fellini's La Dolce Vita, it celebrates Italian lifestyle as well as Monica Bellucci's all-Italian beauty, with surprise appearances by designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana:

Discarded Christmas Trees Become Stools In The Christmas Project
The Christmas Tree Project, London
In London alone, it is estimated that most of the 976,000 Christmas trees in the capital will be simply thrown away.
The Christmas Tree project, a continuation of Fabien Cappello's 2009 RCA graduation work, will see Christmas trees from across London being collected and reincarnated into stools.
Making the perfect Christmas gift, the gallery is inviting people to arrange an early January collection of their tree and place their order for a pretty handcrafted Christmas Tree Stool by rising designer Fabien Cappello.
images and info courtesy of Fabien Capello and the Libby Sellers Gallery
A percentage of profit from the Christmas Tree Project will be donated to the Woodland Trust.
The Libby Sellers Gallery is taking orders until January 6th

2010 National Gingerbread Competition Winners In Each Category.
above: The Grand Prize winning entry in the National Gingerbread Competition featured Christmas-themed Russian Nesting Dolls by Heather Lewis.
Many gingerbread competitions feature some very amateur creations - unimpressive gumdrop laden homes with leaning chimneys, doghouses and lighthouses with lame landscaping and the like. But not the National Gingerbread Competition, which celebrated its 18th annual competition this year at the Grove Park Inn.
The impressive event garnered entries from 20 states and is not limited to "houses" but instead any gingerbread creation that falls within their guidelines. The competition is broken down into Adult, Teen, Youth and Child categories, all of which had several drool-worthy entries. These aren't for Gingerbread House kit-types, we're talking some serious gingerbread baking enthusiasts and fondant masters.
