Incredible - and Enormous - Public Portraits by Hendrik Beikirch.

Artist Hendrik Beikrich
(aka ecb) first worked as freelance artist in Koblenz, Germany. From 1996 through 2000 he studied art education at university of Koblenz-Landau. It was
in 1989 that he created his first painting using a spray can
instead of a brush and he was hooked.

He has since painted portraits on the walls of buildings all over the world, from a Pizzeria in Brooklyn to most recently, the tallest mural in Asia. Works of his can be seen on buildings and underpasses in New Zealand, Korea
, Canada, USA, Mexico, Thailand, Australia, India, Hong Kong, China, Chile, Belarus, Russia and European countries.

Most recently he completed "Where There Is No Struggle, There Is No Strength", a portrait of a fisherman, the tallest mural in Asia:

The Wall Murals On Tiffany's Temporary Façade Of Their New Soho Store By 4 Contemporary Artists.

Tiffany & Co. invited four contemporary artists to transform the temporary façade of their upcoming Soho store in New York with one-of-a-kind murals inspired by true love.

above: Tiffany's temporary storefront served as a black wooden canvas for four artists.

The fourth and final wall mural was just finished yesterday. Here's a look at the four murals in progress and the finished works.

1. DANIELLE DIMSTON FOR TIFFANY SOHO

The first participant in the artist series was visual artist Danielle Dimston. Her mural, which took two and a half days to complete, was inspired by NYC's Soho neighborhood.

4. NATASHA LAW FOR TIFFANY SOHO

The fourth and final mural was created by English painter and graphic designer Natasha Law (who also happens to be the sister of actor Jude Law). She is known for her scantily clad females rendered in a flat graphic silhouette-like style with colored backgrounds.

If Walls Could Talk. Timothy Goodman's Mural for the Ace Hotel, New York.

San Francisco multidisciplinary designer Timothy Goodman was among a small group of artists asked to contribute to the mural project for the Ace Hotels.

The uber trendy hotel chain (whose rooms, I personally feel, look like college dorms) has locations in New York, Seattle, Portland and Palm Springs. Known for their appeal to the young and hip, the chain of hotels incorporates plenty of art, design, music and culture in their utilitarian-esque rooms and lobbies. They also have an association with the popular and fun Rudy Barbershops.

Timothy joined the ranks of other artists when he covered the walls of one smallish room in the latest Ace Hotel NYC location with 99 hand-drawn picture frames. Created with black paint markers and paint, he then filled them with images of facts, love, tidbits, items of interest and shout-outs to other folks to represent, in his own words, "the spontaneity and grit of the city."
