Steven Meisel Shoots A Sexy Miranda Kerr in 3D for Vogue Italia

Miranda Kerr in 3D

As it hit the newsstands in Milan two days ago, the September issue of Vogue Italia had a cover that looked a little different. Why? Because it was shot in Vogue's newest photography frontier, 3D. Enclosed with the Italian issue was a special pair of 3D vision glasses.

Lindsay Lohan's Photos For Double Exposure & COMPLEX magazine

Lindsay Lohan, recently jailbait, now a jailbird, will be getting lots of press attention today. Not only does she begin her incarceration in a Los Angeles jail, but will be featured on Bravo's Double Exposure, the tv series featuring famed fighting photographers, duo Markus Klinko and Indrani.

Talk about timing. As Ms. Lohan begins her 90 day sentence, an upcoming episode will feature her photoshoot for the August/September issue of Complex magazine (Lindsay's second appearance on the show). Lindsay models a bikini, corsets, bustiers, garters and thigh-high boots... undoubtedly more fashionable than her mug shot.

According to Stylelist, Markus and Indrani are not at all pleased with COMPLEX magazine's editorial having added the KAWS artwork and feel that the context in which Lindsay appears with the illustrations is disrespectful.

The magazine, for which Lindsay did not comply with being interviewed, will hit stands in August.

Here are some of the photos from the shoot:

Claudia Schiffer Bares Baby Bump, Nude & Clothed For Karl Lagerfeld.

Supermodel mother of two, Claudia Schiffer, is pregnant with her third child, due later this month, with husband Matthew Vaughn.

The blonde statuesque model graces both the cover and much of the interior of the 2010 June issue of Vogue Germany.

For the cover Claudia, who has been a longtime muse of Karl Lagerfeld's, is nude and very pregnant in a pose strikingly reminiscent to Demi Moore's August 1991 Vanity Fair Cover shot by Annie Leibovitz.

While the magazine's interior editorial features more shots of the model by the likes of Ellen von Unwerth, Camilla Akrans, Francesco Carrozzini, and Jan Welters, I'm going to share with you the hauntingly beautiful shots by Karl Lagerfeld taken on April 22nd of Claudia, some of which are featured in the editorial and others are not.

With obvious religious overtones, the model channeling the Madonna, is shown in classic black and white Chanel.

Designers Get Disney-ized. Cartoon Couture Fashion From Elle Espana.

In the August 2007 issue of Harper's Bazaar, the Simpsons posed in couture and just this past week we saw SHREK posing in a fashion editorial for Vman magazine.

Well, the cartooning of couture continues with the April 2010 issue of Elle EspaƱa.

The fashion editorial, La Moda Animada, is ten illustrated pages in which famous fashion designers have been Disney-ized. Karl Lagerfeld takes on a Goofy appearance, Donatella Versace, Marc Jacobs, Nathalie and Sonia Rykiel, Alber Elbaz and John Galliano all become members of the Donald Duck clan and Jean Paul Gaultier, along with Dolce & Gabbana become Donald, Goofy and Mickey respectively.

Minnie, The Three Little Pigs, Lilo and Stitch, and Toy Story characters make appearances as well. See for yourself.

Here is the entire 10 page editorial scanned from the Spanish fashion magazine:

The Controversial SHREK Fashion Editorial For Vman By Ellen von Unwerth

VMAN magazine has released a photo fashion editorial shot by the fabulous Ellen von Unwerth (with styling Nicola Formichetti) which features the animated Dreamworks Characters from SHREK posing in some mildly suggestive, but hilarious editorial photos with scantily clad fashion models.

The multi-page editorial coincides with the upcoming release of the latest movie in the SHREK franchise, Shrek Forever, on May 21st.

The editorial is getting lots of flack for being in 'poor taste'. Despite being approved and signed-off by Dreamworks, it's been the subject on tv news magazine shows and radio shows and is getting very mixed responses. Lots of angry parents and disappointed SHREK fans seem to feel it places the lovable characters; Shrek, Fiona, Donkey, Puss In boots, The Gingerbread man and Shrek triplets in inappropriate scenarios.

In my opinion, the SHREK movies contain many adult references and have a very wry sense of humor meant for both young and old, the fashion editorial is in a magazine not read by children and is well-shot, composed and styled... all frankly, in good fun.

So, if you can maintain your sense of humor, the following images will amuse you:
