Now Lovemaking Is An Art You Can Frame. New Art Is Love Kits by Jeremy Brown.

I'm not sure that the idea of rolling around naked during lovemaking on a canvas creates what Jeremy Brown calls a 'masterpiece', but his Love Is Art Kit has been getting rave reviews from The View and the Today Show's Bobby Thomas, while also collecting praise from Molly Sims and feature magazines such as COSMOPOLITAN, ESQUIRE, GLAMOUR and PAPER.

In his new collection of Love Is Art Kits, Brown expands his line to include a new variety of colors and textures, which include red, white and monochromatic tints such as copper and silver to his palette, as well as equality themed stencils (15% of the proceeds from the equality kits will be donated to the Human Rights Campaign), allowing couples to customize their experience.

Custom versions, like those shown below, are also available.

Prices for the kits range from $65-$89. Custom kit prices vary depending upon design.

How it works:
You simply roll the plastic tarp out onto the floor, place the specially treated canvas on top of the plastic sheet, pour the 4oz of specially fomulated paint that comes in your kit onto the canvas, and then use your bodies to move the paint around and across the canvas, creating a unique abstract image. Throw the disposable slippers on and walk to the shower or bath to wash each other (or yourself if you've had enough 'together time' by then).

After your one of a kind abstract painting has dried, simply take the canvas to your local art store and have it stretched onto a frame. Or stretch it yourself buy purchasing stretching bars and using a staple gun. And voila! Your most intimate experience is immortalized as abstract art.

About the Artist:

South African born artist, Jeremy Brown has redefined romance and creativity with his abstract approach to creating art. Drawing inspiration from French artist Yves Klein and various works of art by Andy Warhol, Brown has been making art during intimacy for over a decade.

How it began:
One day, a close friend complimented him on a painting that was hung inside his house. After discovering how the painting was made, she asked him to provide her with everything she needed to make a painting with her husband on their anniversary. Jeremy put together a small package with all of the materials needed and wrote a little directional note for them to follow. They absolutely loved it, and the idea for the Love Art Kit was born. Jeremy then spent 6 months researching and developing materials to ensure a safe project, including a treated non-allergenic cotton canvas, as well as, a specially-formulated non-toxic, washable paint.

He packaged the kit under the name Love Is Art. According to Brown, "Art takes patience, dedication, practice, creativity, open mind, and an open heart...so does love. Love is art."

Simply put, LOVE IS ART is a kit that comes with everything a couple needs to safely make a tangible piece of abstract expressionistic art while being intimate with each other. What is left is a one-of-a-kind abstract painting that represents that special moment, that can then be stretched, framed and hung on the wall -- a reminder of the love that was shared. The kit also provides a unique bonding experience for the couples involved, as they work together as a team to craft their own unique work of art.

iPhone App and Social Media:

Those too shy to get in the paint can also express their inner artist via the "Capture the Love" iPhone application. "Capture The Love" allows users to capture, document and share moments of love with the world. Features of the app include the option of 32 various filters/effects, a timestamp, and geo-tagging to showcase where the "love" was captured.

Each upload can be shared via Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or directly sent to capturethelove to leave their mark on the Capture the Love world map (shown above). Users are able to download the app free of charge since October 1, 2012.

LOVE IS ART is not only a brand focused on the intersection of love and art, but on the emphasis of giving back. An avid supporter of the human rights campaign, Brown also mentors Atlanta youth participants of One Love Generation, a non profit organization bringing awareness and positive social change through art and community involvement. In addition, Brown seeks to publish a book titled "Capture The Love - Vol. 1". The book will contain all of the highest favored pictures submitted to capturethelove, with proceeds being donated to charity.

Jeremy Brown believes that like art, love knows no boundaries. He states, "Art takes patience, dedication, practice, creativity, an open mind, and an open heart...so does love. Love is art." Already a success with numerous couples, the LOVE IS ART kit is the perfect suggestion for those looking to explore their creative side. Perfect for various occasions including bachelorette parties, wedding gifts, anniversaries, birthdays, or engagements. With the holidays readily approaching, the kit is also as a great addition to your holiday gift guide.
