Peter Buning's Shadow Projecting Lights: The Shining And Sha-Do Collections

The Shining ceiling and wall lamps by Peter Buning use the interplay between light and shadow to create varying patterns projected on the ceiling and wall.

Sha-Do

On the designers' own site, on which the lights are called it the Sha-do, come the following images of his other designs:

"The concept of the SHA-DO-lamps consists of illuminating the environment through individual shadow pantomimes. The creation of the light is as important to the lamp as the design is. The lamps can be adapted to their environment because of their flexible construction and casts every location in a very special light." -- Peter Buning

Sicis Art Factory Adds High Heeled Tubs & Giant Lights To Their Collections

I have featured the amazing mosaics of SICIS before but they recently added these unusual high heeled bathtubs, The Audrey, to their already impressive collection of unusual tiled products, designs and artwork.

The Audrey comes in three different tiled designs as shown below and measures 165cm or 65" tall at it's highest point and is 270cm or 106" in length.

In addition to the Audrey tub, they have also introduced a lighting collection since I last blogged about them called the Atmosphera collection:

Check out the entire Atmosphera lighting collection here.

Sicis Art Factory has sculptures, lamps, rugs, tubs, wall tiles and more made with amazing mosaics. Learn about them all here.
