The Yin Yang Tub For Couples. Sensual Bathing Without Sharing That Pesky Dirty Bathwater.
Bathtubs for couples are growing more and more popular. The Yin Yang tub, named because its compartments emulate the Asian symbol, has a lot of the bells and whistles that other new luxury spa equipment has (led lights, massage bubbles, music, etc.) but the tub is designed with two separate compartments so that friends, family and other 'pairs' can bathe together as well. Plus you don't have to lay around in someone's dirty bathwater (other than your own, of course).
The Yin Yang couple tub allows each individual to control their own water temperature, bubbles, and colored lights.
above: The tub can be used by only one individual as well.
The integrated soundwave massage means the loudspeakers are actually in the tub so one experiences musical vibrations in their body as well as being able to hear the music and each tub has four high performance color spots to create the atmospheric light - you can even have a rainbow lighting effect if you want a disco bathing experience.
The intense bubbly massage is a result of 120 water and air nozzles. The air mixes with the water through the Hydroxeur® principle and stays stored in the water for minutes (this is called the champagne effect).
The bath comes with optional handles and is delivered with a special frame for tiling on-site and can be clad with ceramics or wood. In addition, each tub has a hand shower and thermostat that operate separately.
The shared experience doesn't come cheap, with the tub priced at a whopping $55,619.12 USD
The Yin Yang Couple Tub by Trautwein received an award at the "GOLDEN WAVE 2013" for being one of the most innovate new designs in the Swimspas and Saunas categories.
Ellie Konig and Quang Dinh Know How To Do A Wedding Video. Take Note, Soon-To-Be-Marrieds.
above: Quang and Ellie captured in their on-site reception photo booth, one of over 800 pictures by which they now have to remember the special occasion (courtesy of Quang Dinh's facebook page)
Like most newlyweds, the lovely Ellie Koning and handsome Quang Dinh wanted to capture the afterparty of their Aug. 11th nuptials on video. Unlike most couples, they used small Seattle-based production company Super Frog Saves Tokyo to do the job. (On the company's official facebook page, the folks at SFST they say they made this video for their "boss.")
The video was shot at the reception site Sodo Park in Seattle Washington in a photo booth, a now popular trend at weddings. The result is a recorded total of 4 minutes and 27 seconds of sweet jubilation unlike most painfully tacky wedding videos.
above: one of the photobooth still images from their wedding
It's been featured on MSN, Glamour.com, Jezebel and more and is rapidly turning Ellie and Quang into social media stars.
above: a still from the video
Shot at super high speed on the RED Epic camera, this 160 frame per second video unfolds in slow motion to Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines,” and captures the guests with simple wedding favor props like confetti, bubbles, poppers and silly string in a photo booth.
The joyful and ebullient energy conveyed is so much better and more touching than drunken statements made to camera or master shots of a dark room full of spastic dancers.
Congratulation to the happy couple, shown below in a more subdued and romantic photo from their wedding (photo courtesy of Ellie's facebook page):

Now Lovemaking Is An Art You Can Frame. New Art Is Love Kits by Jeremy Brown.
I'm not sure that the idea of rolling around naked during lovemaking on a canvas creates what Jeremy Brown calls a 'masterpiece', but his Love Is Art Kit has been getting rave reviews from The View and the Today Show's Bobby Thomas, while also collecting praise from Molly Sims and feature magazines such as COSMOPOLITAN, ESQUIRE, GLAMOUR and PAPER.
In his new collection of Love Is Art Kits, Brown expands his line to include a new variety of colors and textures, which include red, white and monochromatic tints such as copper and silver to his palette, as well as equality themed stencils (15% of the proceeds from the equality kits will be donated to the Human Rights Campaign), allowing couples to customize their experience.

Black and Copper kit:
Black and Silver Kit:
The Equality Stencil kit:
Signature and Hearts kits:
Shades of Grey kit:
Custom versions, like those shown below, are also available.
Prices for the kits range from $65-$89. Custom kit prices vary depending upon design.
How it works:
You simply roll the plastic tarp out onto the floor, place the specially treated canvas on top of the plastic sheet, pour the 4oz of specially fomulated paint that comes in your kit onto the canvas, and then use your bodies to move the paint around and across the canvas, creating a unique abstract image. Throw the disposable slippers on and walk to the shower or bath to wash each other (or yourself if you've had enough 'together time' by then).
After your one of a kind abstract painting has dried, simply take the canvas to your local art store and have it stretched onto a frame. Or stretch it yourself buy purchasing stretching bars and using a staple gun. And voila! Your most intimate experience is immortalized as abstract art.
About the Artist:
How it began:
One day, a close friend complimented him on a painting that was hung inside his house. After discovering how the painting was made, she asked him to provide her with everything she needed to make a painting with her husband on their anniversary. Jeremy put together a small package with all of the materials needed and wrote a little directional note for them to follow. They absolutely loved it, and the idea for the Love Art Kit was born. Jeremy then spent 6 months researching and developing materials to ensure a safe project, including a treated non-allergenic cotton canvas, as well as, a specially-formulated non-toxic, washable paint.
He packaged the kit under the name Love Is Art. According to Brown, "Art takes patience, dedication, practice, creativity, open mind, and an open heart...so does love. Love is art."
Simply put, LOVE IS ART is a kit that comes with everything a couple needs to safely make a tangible piece of abstract expressionistic art while being intimate with each other. What is left is a one-of-a-kind abstract painting that represents that special moment, that can then be stretched, framed and hung on the wall -- a reminder of the love that was shared. The kit also provides a unique bonding experience for the couples involved, as they work together as a team to craft their own unique work of art.
iPhone App and Social Media:
Those too shy to get in the paint can also express their inner artist via the "Capture the Love" iPhone application. "Capture The Love" allows users to capture, document and share moments of love with the world. Features of the app include the option of 32 various filters/effects, a timestamp, and geo-tagging to showcase where the "love" was captured.
LOVE IS ART is not only a brand focused on the intersection of love and art, but on the emphasis of giving back. An avid supporter of the human rights campaign, Brown also mentors Atlanta youth participants of One Love Generation, a non profit organization bringing awareness and positive social change through art and community involvement. In addition, Brown seeks to publish a book titled "Capture The Love - Vol. 1". The book will contain all of the highest favored pictures submitted to capturethelove, with proceeds being donated to charity.
Jeremy Brown believes that like art, love knows no boundaries. He states, "Art takes patience, dedication, practice, creativity, an open mind, and an open heart...so does love. Love is art." Already a success with numerous couples, the LOVE IS ART kit is the perfect suggestion for those looking to explore their creative side. Perfect for various occasions including bachelorette parties, wedding gifts, anniversaries, birthdays, or engagements. With the holidays readily approaching, the kit is also as a great addition to your holiday gift guide.
