The Graffiti Fishtank by Artist Dean Zeus Coleman

London Artist Dean Zeus Coleman (aka Zeus) is known for redefining traditional Graffiti with his three dimensional sculptures, paintings and typography. One of his unusual projects I simply had to share with you, given my fondness for aquariums, is this fabulous three dimensional graffiti typography fish tank.

Zeus is incredibly talented and works in several different mediums. Here's a look at just a few of his sculptures, paintings and installations I find compelling:

Aquaplay Creatures For Pool Fun by RQR Estudio For Isaba.

Designed by RQR Estudio for ISABA's Aquaplay division are these adorable water-spouting creatures. The interactive 'sprinkler' type equipment is to be placed in the recreational areas of hotels and public pools, inside and at the edge of shallow pools. Animals, beings and a tree round out the collection as you will see below:

These are not for individual residential use as far as I know. For more information, visit IsabaAquaplay

Metalmorphosis Moving Water Sculpture by David Černý.

Most recently you may have heard the name of Czech artist David Černý during the London Summer Olympics as he was the artist who created the London Double Decker "push-up" bus, Booster (shown below).

A piece of which I was not a fan, I thought I'd share with you something of his I do like. Metalmorphosis is an imposing kinetic installation of a giant head that spits water. Part sculpture, part fountain and wholly impossible to ignore, the piece is 30 feet tall and weighs 14 tons.

Photographer Tim Tadder's Water Wigs For Men And Women.

In his personal project, Water Wigs, commercial photographer Tim Tadder used water balloons dropped directly down upon bald heads of men and women and then captured the exploding water on camera. The result is a comical and intriguing effect mimicking halos, mohawks, afros, hats, boas and wigs. Below are all 23 images from the project.

Behance interviewed the photographer about his Water Wigs project. Read that here.
